Bihain Baim lets you buy at a participating store now and pay in four equal instalments through BSP Pay. Limits start small and grow as you pay on time, and there is no interest — just clear dates and amounts.
Sign in with your PNG phone number — a one-time code arrives on WhatsApp, or by SMS if WhatsApp cannot reach you. No password, no app store. Stores sign in with the same BM ID to approve a purchase at the counter.

Four payments, no interest
Split a purchase into four instalments, two weeks apart. You see every date and amount before you agree.
Limits that grow with you
Everyone starts with a small limit. Pay on time and it rises; miss a payment and it pauses. You can also cap yourself lower — the app will not lend past your own cap.
Approved at the counter
The store confirms the purchase in its own Bihain Baim screen and is paid by BM — the shopper's instalments are BM's to collect.
BSP Pay, Visa card or wallet
Each instalment is paid on the secure BM PAY page — BSP Pay (CIF + OTP), Visa card or the Konekt wallet — with a WhatsApp reminder before each due date and a receipt when it is paid.
Earn perks for paying on time
Five on-time payments unlock Pay Monthly; ten unlock a delayed first payment. A 10% plan fee applies only when you choose to use a perk.

Bihain Baim runs on BM ID and BM Pay with lending guardrails designed for the Bank of PNG framework.
- Blockchain Melanesia is working with the Bank of Papua New Guinea to secure its e-money licence for the BM wallet.
- Payments run through BM Pay on BSP Pay: CIF and mobile OTP, no card details typed into a phone.
- No interest and no hidden fees: the four amounts are fixed when the plan is created.
